Our chapter area is Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The NoNEC shows are attended by model train operators, collectors and enthusiasts from all over New England.
We hold two shows a year in Dover, New Hampshire, usually in early April and again in late October. We have 100 exhibitor tables manned by train collectors, operators, and vendors, plus a large operating layout, test tracks, and good food. Our upcoming meets, along with table rental forms can
be found on the NETCA Meets Page, and pictures from past shows are periodically updated below.
An important part of the railroading history in our chapter area is the Flying Yankee which provided passenger service between Boston, Portland, and Bangor in the 1930’s and 40’s. Can you believe that from 1935 to 1941 Lionel’s version of the Flying Yankee shown above sold for $16.50? ($12.50 without the whistle!) In case The Flying Yankee catches your interest, they often show up for sale on tables at our train shows, although for a bit more than the 1930’s prices.
Members of our Board of Directors are happy to answer any questions.
We would love to have you join us at one of our upcoming shows.
